Before buying any photo plaque, please make sure that it is being produced using the kiln fired process. In using this method the mineral based pigments contained in the ceramic transfers are actually fused at 820 degrees centigrade into the glaze layer of the porcelain much the same as in the production of dishwasher safe tableware.
Beware of any products described as "UV resistant" "UV protected" or "UV protection sprayed". These are produced using the dye sublimation process which is not permanent, you will be disappointed.
